Birds Birds and more Birds

Birds
I enjoy trying to get birds in flight.
All these were taken with my 300mm Nikor and my Nikon D7000 except the goose pictures, they were taken with my trusty iPhone.

  1. Yo! Mark,
Is that a Red Tail Hawk? #4 The backlight looks great going thru the wings. You don't have much time with birds flying. Hard to get the birds to turn into the light. Good Robin stuff too. Buds and Robin show spring is officially here.
We gotta do a field trip somewhere.

  2. I love #4 because of the backlight...as well as 6, 7, 8....I love seeing the clear shots of the robins. (reminds me of Michigan!!!) Love it. I love shooting birds and thus, I loved this challenge!!
LOL - I just viewed Burr's pix and now I can fully recognize that I have a lot to learn yet!!!!

  4. Love your robin shots- they are nicely framed within the leaves and branches. And the hawks in flight are beautiful! While up in Rhode Island in May, I was amazed at all the different bird songs I heard at dawn and sunset. At first I thought we must not have the same variety of birds here in Florida, but I think most just do not sing, they squawk (sea gulls, herons, etc.)!
