Framing

Lynn said it best Burr, your challenges  really do make you look at everything in a different way...all last week when I was out taking pictures, I kept thinking about how I could frame this or that scene....
With that said, here are my  submissions for this week...and yup Burr, I did manage to sneak in some birds :-)

Coast Guard Ice Breaker Hollyhock on the St Clair River framed by trees

Deer wouldn't come forward to get out of the brush, but they are framed...kind of...lol

Off the nest long enough for me to get a somewhat framed shot of her

and a lonely duck framed between the pilings....

A lone fisherman on the St Clair River

  1. Mark, these are magnificent. I've gone back to try to pick out 1 or 2 favorites....but I just can't do it!! I find favor and beauty in each of them!!! Nice job!!

  2. Well, I gotta say that the framing thing is really working for us all. Your picture of the ship is more interesting to view with just that little touch than the ones out in the ice. This carries through with the rest of your stuff this week. I just looked at Lynn's blog and got the same feeling. I think we will be "Framing" more than we used to.
