Animal Portraits
#1 and #2
are shots of our friends Pit Bull Bailey.
#2
#3
Dane, a male German Shepherd I met while walking near the house
#4
His owner was nice enough to pause and let me take some pictures
#5
another shot of Dane
#6
Bailey again
#7
We'll call him Donald. He insisted I do a portrait of him :-)
If you thought taking portrait shots of pets was hard....try chasing
ducks and swans around asking them to pose nicely .....lol
#8
This swan was pretty cooperative and let me
take several pictures. Then apparently it was nap time and when I continued taking pictures,
he rose up, started hissing and I took that as my cue that he was done posing.
#9
Just before he hissed at me
#10
is a picture I took about 10 or maybe 15 years ago of my two
Shepherds, Greif and Sasha..they are missed :-(
Good job Mark. Looks like you got around. Glad you were able to get your friends to pose for you. I like #2 best, just the look on Bailey's face :-)
ReplyDeleteWow - you really got into it!! Nice job. I agree with Robin, #2 is awesome....looks very professional!!
ReplyDeleteFor me #1 is the best, I like the profile, it's sharp, and a nice catch light. Of course #9 is very beautiful in all respects and #10 is a very nice photo of your personal pets!
ReplyDelete1,3,6, best eyes and expressions of them all. Very good Mark.
ReplyDelete#1 is a great profile and the 'bokeh' polished it off - nice shot. I really like #8 - the texture, 'flow' and the color in the beak just pulls your eyes into the shot. great job as always....
