#22 Reflections

These were taken on the St Clair River.
It was difficult getting reflections with all the ice and ripples in the water.
All the Pictures  were taken with either my Nikon D70s or my Nikon D7000
The lenses were either my 80-300 Nikor or my 150-500 mm Sigma

  1. Finally a good one of the scary mystery person with the glasses. Zoom in tighter on the reflection. There is a good full shot there in the lens.
What's on the Swans? Did we have an oil spill up there?
I like the white ice and blue water. Good sharp and good colors.

  2. There were a couple of swans with that blotchy coloring on them. Not sure what was up with them. I did have some that were all Snow White

  3. I love pics taken on the Great Lakes! 5 is my favorite, I like the colors and composition, then 8, your assistant did an excellent job getting an amazingly sharp reflection (she should join and have her own blog!) I think 6 has good color and nice reflection also. Honorable mention goes to 1 that scruffy duck has attitude! I enjoyed all your pics!

  5. #7, 8 & 9 are my favorites....although, as usual, all are great views. #7 and #9, in my opinion, provide the most depth.....and I enjoyed that. #8 is on my "like" list because of "that guy" showed up again and I love that you used him in this assignment. The glasses provide a perfect means of reflection. Nice!

  6. Mark, you have some beautiful nature shots here, but I love the ice pics- all the more fascinating because we never see that here. And That Guy seems to follow you- great reflection shot in his sunglasses!
