I have to admit this was really tough for me... People are probably my least favorite subjects to photograph, so I cheated a bit and took pictures at my granddaughters soccer game hoping to catch at least three emotions form the kids..Unfortunately it was a night game with poor lighting so I'm not to happy with the results....
NICE brother! I like them ALL except #3....which I sort of don't 'get'. The rest are fabulous and I found I could likely 'label' an emotion in all of the others.

Over all you hit the mark. Rough assignment.
1,2 and 6 were great, this was challenging for me as well, its hard to capture emotion but I think those are often the moments we need to catch and remember. I thought you all did better than you expected, I enjoyed seeing them all.

ReplyDeleteNice job capturing emotion on the move. And the lighting looks good to me, no underexposed or blurry shots. A bit of a perfectionist, are we?! I really like #1- it has a nice, surreally happy vibe to it- very artistic. And #2 is a beautiful, pensive portrait of your granddaughter- she looks competitive!
